the style:
suck and see! it doesnt matter how you make it - or what instruments you
use. but after tasting a few tracks you will soon work it out.

the community:
micromusic.net is many things. first we are a music label - though we deal with
.mp3's & hard drive space not vinyl!
micromusic,net is also what the users make it - it is an organic community
that can shape their own identity by uploading and downloading, organising
parties, bringing their own projects to micromusic.net, making bands with
other micromusic.net members, helping with any aspect of the site
programming, designing... whatever. you decide what you want it to be.

to become a member just login as a guest, click on "register now" in the
upper right corner of the screen and fill out the form. u will get a login
and password by e-mail: THIS MAY TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS!

3. i forgot my password? what do i do?

simply click on "forgot your password?" on micromusic.net and fill in the same e-mail address that you used for your mm-newsletter etc. u will receive your login & password by e-mail immediately.

4. my password does not work! what do i do?

if registering with your new login name for the first time and the password doesnt work, try to copy and paste your password from your account activation mail [careful! dont add spaces!] and this will fix the problem. then we suggest u choose your own password. u can do this in your user_info [click on the little yellow "i" button next to your name in microtalk]. if you are having problems with one of your own passwords even though u are SURE it is right, follow the instructions for "i forgot my password". and then try not to pick something too secret for your password next time!

5. how can i contribute music?

login to micromusic, choose up-/downloadz, then click on "upload file" and follow the instructions there. it may take up to 2 month until tracks get rated by the quality filter system (qfs). please note that we only hype tracks that are approved by the quality filter system!

6. what will happen if i upload music?

your track will go through a quality filter process. this may take up to 2 month. if your track gets approved by the qfs it will be available for download and get hyped by micromusic.net.

7. can i organize a micromusic event?

yes! please contact the nearest micromusic.net headquarters. if there is no hq in your area you could start one with your friendz and organise an event. please contact the micromusic.net main_headquarters in case of questions or if you need support!

8. how can i join a local HQ (eg: london_hq)

simply get in contact with the hq you'd like to join! there are direct links to their mail addresses or websites on the microeventz page.

you could either buy one of those good-looking (but shitty) computer called "apple macintosh" or choose the cheaper solution: click on "talk log"! ;)

click on a name in the microtalk and say hello to the other members to start a conversation. maybe this is your next question: -> - my talk message is cut off, how can i read the rest? ( -> check question 09)

- short description [max 10 words]
- artists playing [include live/dj/talk etc]:

- link for flyer [we wont host them]:

all the banners here have one thing connecting them all - they are projects closely joined to micromusic and are projects/sites/labels run by micromusic members. it is our way to support our micro_family. this space will never be given to advertising or non-micro_family rooted projects. if however you feel you DO fit the criteria mail us your idea's to contact@micromusic.net and we can take a look.

send us as much info about the records/cd's/warez you have and how you will sell it. we dont actually sell it ourselves, but promote the products as part of our network and then link customers back to you. we will need to check out the product that you want to sell so you must send examples via snail mail to the qfs for approval. email contact@micromusic.net for further info.

the queen/king of microtalk is the user with the longest login-time at the moment. there are currenty no extra-features for this user.
